February Updates
Howdy all,
It's time for February and the calendar is full! We also have our first protest on the calendar. Thinking about adding more, but would like to have a smart way to share them all without getting too cluttered.
Also, calendar is now at the very end of the email.
Big news? Convention season is picking up and things are hectic.
Also, the LPO needs volunteers! Especially for these 2 positions:
IT Director: https://lpo.org/jobs/director-of-information-technology/
Communications volunteer: https://lpo.org/comms-volunteer/
Check out the listing for more info. The IT director is the most vital, but you need to know what you are doing. The Communications role is important, and great for someone starting out.
There was also a training for treasurers sent out by the mises caucus. Recommended for any current of future county treasurer:
Last month in review:
Business Meeting:
We talked about the central committee election, convention training, LNC drama, and some other stuff.
LP/MC News:
The MC is doing well so far at state conventions! If you want to know more, ask me at the meeting.
Massachusetts is a dumpster fire. They removed a bunch of Mises caucus people, and nonsense is going down there (again). Just means that we need more people in reno to outweigh them. Check out CAH for more detail if you want to know more
Mises Caucus Of Ohio goals: Setting this month for 2022.
Calls to Action!
Sign up for the conventions:
Anyone can become a state convention delegate and we need as many as possible. And if you have a position in your country (or get one soon) you still have a good shot at being a national delegate.
Start county affiliates:
This grows and strengthens the party. Also, county chairs get national delegate spots almost for sure, they choose state delegates, and they have a lot of influence on the state level. Start local, if you can and your county needs it. Reach out to our email address if you don't know who to contact to find out more.
Volunteer for the Mises caucus:
We are always looking for more volunteers at the state level. Here are the most urgent open positions. Just send an email if you are interested.
Social Coordinator for SE Ohio: Organize and attend the monthly in person socials in NW or SE Ohio
Delegate coordinator: Help us figure out who will be at convention and make us more effective while there
Candidate Coordinator: Help us find and support candidates for local office
