March with the Ohio Mises Caucus
How's it going?
March is already crazy, and it is just getting started!!!
Big news? Convention season is happening, and wilder than ever. Especially in PA, in spite of the mike being physically stolen, curses by a witch, and mailler sent out with stolen data, it has gone pretty well! We are on track for Reno, and it will keep being wild.
How about Ohio news? I will have out the form for central committee endorsements out this week. There are 32 spots on the board, many empty, and we need as many people as possible to run. They will also need to be from each different congressional district, so that will be fun:
A note on socials also: if your county host socials, we are happy to "cohost" and share it with our mailing list. Or if you just want to have stuff happening in your area, reach out and we can help you get something set up.
Also, congratulate Carl on becoming a volunteer supporting affiliates across the whole state! If you have any county affiliate questions, or want to start one, reach out and we will give you his contact info.
Last month in review:
Business Meeting:
We talked about the central committee election, convention training, LNC drama, and setting up something to keep track on ongoing protest
LP/MC News:
The MC is doing well so far at state conventions! If you want to know more, ask me at the meeting.
Lots of state conventions are happening, and us organizers are being put to the test. Part of the reason that this email is a bit late :P.
Mises Caucus Of Ohio goals: Setting this month for 2022.
Calls to Action!
Sign up for the conventions:
Anyone can become a state convention delegate and we need as many as possible. And if you have a position in your country (or get one soon) you still have a good shot at being a national delegate.
Start county affiliates:
This grows and strengthens the party. Also, county chairs get national delegate spots almost for sure, they choose state delegates, and they have a lot of influence on the state level. Start local, if you can and your county needs it. Reach out to our email address if you don't know who to contact to find out more.
Volunteer for the Mises caucus:
We are always looking for more volunteers at the state level. Here are the most urgent open positions. Just send an email if you are interested.
Social Coordinator for SE Ohio: Organize and attend the monthly in person socials in NW or SE Ohio
Delegate coordinator: Help us figure out who will be at convention and make us more effective while there
Candidate Coordinator: Help us find and support candidates for local office
